Twitter is a bit like Marmite – you either love it or hate it! However, like anything in life, you shouldn’t dismiss it until you’ve given it a try. For those of you who are strangers to Twitter, or if you have an account but don’t use it, then why don’t you join our free, upcoming online Twitter course, called ‘A week to tweet’.

This Twitter course has been organised by the communications team of the EULAR Young PARE working group, in partnership with EMEUNET who launched their ‘10 days of twitter’ course in 2016. ‘A week to tweet‘ is aimed at people who wish to learn the basics of using Twitter and explore its relevance and potential to learn from others, collaborate and improve awareness of health conditions. The course will run over 7 consecutive days, starting on Thursday 16th February 2017 and finishing on Wednesday 22nd February 2017. Each day at 8 am (GMT) or 9 am (CET), you will be emailed a short task followed by details of how to complete this task (starting with setting up a Twitter account). These tasks will only take 5 to 10 minutes within your day, so there is no significant time commitment. With the EULAR Annual European Conference of PARE fast approaching and the EULAR Congress in the not too distant future, this is a perfect time to get to grips with Twitter so you can join in the Twitter conversation using #PARE2017 in February and #EULAR2017 in June. If you would like to sign-up, please click on the following link: http://eepurl.com/cA1qBz. Once you’ve shared your email address and name, you will receive a confirmation email.
