Calling all young people aged 11 to 18! Have you used any form of health technology to manage a health condition? If so, and you’d like to get involved in an exciting piece of research, keep reading!

Health technology is a really broad term used to refer to any form of technology that can be used for your health – such as smartphone apps, text messages from health teams, wearables and so on.

However, there’s not so much advice out there to inform health professionals, researchers and developers about what young people actually want when it comes to health technology, and how they want to find out about health technology – which is why you are needed!

I am working with a lovely team of researchers at the University of York on a project which is looking to find the best ways to inform young people about health technology. We are hosting a meeting for young people to come along to on Saturday 02 March 2019 between 11 am and 2 pm at the University of York.

Travel will be paid for, and you’ll also receive a voucher as a thank you for your help! If thing sounds like something you’d like to get involved with, then please email Jackie: jackie.martin-kerry@york.ac.uk or call her on 01904 321826.
