UK Blog Awards 2018

Voting is now live for the UK Blog Awards 2018 – and I’m delighted to announce that I have been nominated in both the ‘Health and Social Care’ and ‘International Influencers’ categories!

votenow-1-transThe UK Blog Awards recognise a variety of individuals and organisations with social media talent across the United Kingdom each year. The richness and diversity of nominees is fantastic – and encompasses every area possible. From photography and parenting, to travel and education – there’s a blog out there for it! You can check out the individual entrants for the 2018 UK Blog Awards here, and the organisational entrants for the 2018 UK Blog Awards here.

If you’re reading this, then I hope you’ll be familiar with my website and social media presence! I started my blog on this website so that I had a platform to share my thoughts, feelings, and experiences of living with chronic health conditions. I also wanted my blog to be a hub for sharing many opportunities that I have become involved with, having found my voice, and having ignited my passion for engaging and involving others in finding their ‘spark’ when it comes to health research.

“I dream for a day where ill health is no longer a daily challenge for those living with chronic conditions, and those caring for their loved ones. Having witnessed first hand how incredibly difficult it is, I blog to help others realise that they’re not alone, and that there are opportunities out there which could transform their lives – just as my life has been transformed thanks to the work of many other people. It would be an honour and a privilege to win a UK Blog Award – not just personally, but as recognition for the community of incredible young people out there, living with chronic conditions, who are trying to change the world with me, so that future generations don’t have to go through what we have experienced.”

Please consider voting for me in the UK Blog Awards 2018, by visiting the following page: Once you’ve had a read, you can scroll to the bottom of the page to submit your vote. You’ll need to type in your name, email address and then select the category to nominate me in. Please feel free to nominate me in the combined ‘Health and Social Care + International Influencers’ category! 🙂
