Happy New Year! There are so many things on the horizon in 2019, but with that comes increasing pressure and expectations, which can take their toll. Taking good care of yourself isn’t selfish, and that is something I’m going to be prioritising in 2019… and I hope you will do the same.

Some of the actions may seem obvious and trivial, but you’d be surprised at how often we can forget to think about the simple things in life – the things that actually matter the most to us, when we’re not consumed by the hustle and bustle of 21st century living.

Through Giving, Relating, Exercising, Awareness, Trying Out, Direction, Resilience, Emotions, Acceptance and Meaning, think about what you want to get out of life – and what you need to give in return. I’ve recently been thinking a lot about the importance of one’s mindset and perspective, and how those qualities can influence your ability to cope and move forward – look out for a post in the not too distant future!
