Self-Care September

How is it September already!? September is one of my favourite months, and always begins on a good note with my birthday on the 1st – Happy Birthday to me! Ironically, this month’s theme is ‘Self-Care September’, so I’m going to do my best to practice what I preach.

The ‘Self-Care September Action Calendar’, published by Action for Happiness in 12 languages, has daily suggested actions to do throughout September 2019 to help you prioritise your own health and wellbeing, which is increasingly difficult these days. Looking after yourself is easier said than done, especially when existing commitments take precedent. Self-care isn’t a luxury – it’s a necessity. So if you struggle like I do, make a pledge this September to look after yourself!

You can’t pour from an empty cup. Take care of yourself!”
